ṛṣvā te pādā pra yajjigāsyavardhanvājā uta ye cidatra tvamindra sālāvṛkānsahasramāsandadhiṣe aśvinā vavṛtyāḥ
O seers, your feet for which valor grows — those who here strive and those who are present. You, Indra, yoked a thousand wolf‑teams; the Ashvins set loose and turned them back.
Vast, (Indra), are your feet; when you advance, the Vājas, and whatsoever (deities are) thereanimated you; you, Indra, hold a thousand jackals in yourmouth, may you bring back the Aśvins.
High are thy feet when on thy way thou goest: the strength thou foundest here hath lent thee vigour. Thousand hyenas in thy mouth thou holdest. O Indra, mayst thou turn the Asvins hither.
