यं त्वा॒ पूर्व॑मीळि॒तो व॑ध्र्य॒श्वः स॑मी॒धे अ॑ग्ने॒ स इ॒दं जु॑षस्व । स नः॑ स्ति॒पा उ॒त भ॑वा तनू॒पा दा॒त्रं र॑क्षस्व॒ यदि॒दं ते॑ अ॒स्मे
yaṃ tvā pūrvamīḷito vadhryaśvaḥ samīdhe agne sa idaṃ juṣasva sa naḥ stipā uta bhavā tanūpā dātraṃ rakṣasva yadidaṃ te asme
He who formerly delighted you, O vigorous steed, Agni, accept this libation. Be our support and become our strength; protect this gift for us if it is yours.
Do you, Agni, whom Vadhryaśva propitiating you formerly kindled, accept this; be the proector of oursacrifices, be the protector of our bodies; preserve this wealth which has been given to us by you.
Accept this offering, Agni, whom aforetime Vadhryasva, hath entreated and enkindled. Guard well our homes and ople, guard our bodies, protect thy girt to us which thou hast granted.
