Sarasvatī, the floodlike rivers, with mighty streams come, O channels; goddesses, waters, mothers, may they bestow upon you ghee, milk, honey, and grain.
May the very great rivers, Sarasvatī, Sarayu, Sindhu, come with their waves for (our) protection; maythe divine maternal animating waters grant us their water mixed with butter and honey.
Let the great Streams come hither with their mighty help, Sindhu, Sarasvati, and Sarayu with waves. Ye Goddess Floods, ye Mothers, animating all, promise us water rich in fatness and in balm.
