प्रथि॑ष्ट॒ यस्य॑ वी॒रक॑र्ममि॒ष्णदनु॑ष्ठितं॒ नु नर्यो॒ अपौ॑हत् । पुन॒स्तदा वृ॑हति॒ यत्क॒नाया॑ दुहि॒तुरा अनु॑भृतमन॒र्वा
prathiṣṭa yasya vīrakarmamiṣṇadanuṣṭhitaṃ nu naryo apauhat punastadā vṛhati yatkanāyā duhiturā anubhṛtamanarvā
He who established heroic deeds, that rite performed, did not diminish men; thereafter the mighty one grew, as the offspring were milked by the daughters, the river flowed with abundance.
(Rudra), the benefactor of man, whose eager, virile energy was developed, drew it back whendisseminated (for the genitive ration of offfspring); again the irresistible (Rudra) concentrates (the energy) which wascommunicated to his maiden daughter.
