This celebrated king I praise; the seers and wise men spread the sacred fences; he made thrive the famed Agni, the law and the wheel of the ransom—he is Raghudru.

This royal (Soma), this glorified creator, is praised (by all), and, like a sage, constituting his owncause-way, he traverses the firmament; he made Kakṣīvat tremble, he (made) Agni (shake) as horses (agitate)the light- whirling, revolving-wheel (of a chariot).

This King is praised and honoured as Ordainer: himself the bridge, the Sage speeds o'er the waters. He hath stirred up Kaksivan, stirred up Agni, as the steed's swift wheel drives the felly onward.
