इ॒दमि॒त्था रौद्रं॑ गू॒र्तव॑चा॒ ब्रह्म॒ क्रत्वा॒ शच्या॑म॒न्तरा॒जौ । क्रा॒णा यद॑स्य पि॒तरा॑ मंहने॒ष्ठाः पर्ष॑त्प॒क्थे अह॒न्ना स॒प्त होतॄ॑न्
idamitthā raudraṃ gūrtavacā brahma kratvā śacyāmantarājau krāṇā yadasya pitarā maṃhaneṣṭhāḥ parṣatpakthe ahannā sapta hotṝn
Thus with a fierce voice they uttered a powerful hymn, the priests and chiefs in the royal hall; the fathers’ harsh ones, the sacrificers, stood up—seven priests performed the offering.
The fierce-voiced (Nābhānediṣṭha repeated) through his intelligence this praise of Rudra, in themidst of the ceremony at the assembly (of the Aṅgirasas), which (praise) his parents, making (the partition) andhis brothers engaged in giving (the shares accomplished); he perfected the seven priests (therewith) on the dayon which the rite was to be matured.
THE welcome speaker in the storm of battle uttered with might this prayer to win the Asvins, When the most liberal God, for Paktha, rescued his parents, and assailed the seven Hotras.
