त्रीणि॑ श॒ता त्री स॒हस्रा॑ण्य॒ग्निं त्रिं॒शच्च॑ दे॒वा नव॑ चासपर्यन् । औक्ष॑न्घृ॒तैरस्तृ॑णन्ब॒र्हिर॑स्मा॒ आदिद्धोता॑रं॒ न्य॑सादयन्त
trīṇi śatā trī sahasrāṇyagniṃ triṃśacca devā nava cāsaparyan aukṣanghṛtairastṛṇanbarhirasmā ādiddhotāraṃ nyasādayanta
Three hundred, three thousand, Agni of thirty and the nine gods surrounding: with clarified ghee, grass, and bark they kindled him; they set him as bearer and placed him.
Three thousand three hundred and thirty-and-nine deities worshipped Agni, they sprinkled (me) withbutter, they strewed the sacred grass, and then made the invoker of the gods sit down.
The Deities three hundred and thirty-nine, have served and honoured Agni, Strewn sacred grass, anointed him with butter, and seated him as Priest, the Gods' Invoker.
