Grant my offerings along with oblations, alone bringing lively vigour; give the portion. Let the ghee and the sacrificial person and the fourfold herbs be for Agni—may the gods grant long life.

(Agni). Only grant to me, deities, the concentrated portion of the oblation the Prayājas and Anuyājasexclusively; (give me) the butter (the essence) of the waters, and man (the essence) of the plural nts; and let the lifeof Agni be long.

Grant me the first oblations and the latter, entire, my forceful shares of holy presents, The soul of plants, the fatness of the waters, and let there be long life, ye Gods, to Agni.
