Bring to the cow-pleasers the delighting portion from afar, grain and the food of the sacrificer for all. May we, foremost among kings, with fitting wealth and booty prevail in battle.
Indra, invoked of many, may we escape all ignorance caused by poverty by means of our cattle; (maywe escape) all hunger by means of our barley; (may we acquire) the chief riches through the princes (of wealth);may we conquer by our valour.
O Much-invoked, may we subdue all famine and evil want with store of grain and cattle. May we allied, as first in rank, with princes obtain possessions by our own exertion.
