Whomsoever you gave as gift, whether servant or noble, Indra made him brave in battle. Let those who wished be easy to us; O warrior, we follow them in conflict.
Indra, the praised of many, may he who proposes to assail us, whether he be a dāsa, an ārya, or anenemy of the gods; through your aid may all (such) foes be easily overcome by us; through you may we destroythem in battle.
The godless man, much-lauded Indra, whether he be Dasa or be Arya, who would war with us,- Easy to conquer he for thee, with us, these foes: with thee may we subdue them in the clash of fight.
