स नः॑ क्षु॒मन्तं॒ सद॑ने॒ व्यू॑र्णुहि॒ गोअ॑र्णसं र॒यिमि॑न्द्र श्र॒वाय्य॑म् । स्याम॑ ते॒ जय॑तः शक्र मे॒दिनो॒ यथा॑ व॒यमु॒श्मसि॒ तद्व॑सो कृधि
sa naḥ kṣumantaṃ sadane vyūrṇuhi goarṇasaṃ rayimindra śravāyyam syāma te jayataḥ śakra medino yathā vayamuśmasi tadvaso kṛdhi
Give us that generous one, wide-spreading, worthy of song—open for us the bovine herd’s riches, Indra, for our praise. May we be victorious through you as you are for the people of old; make our dwelling fruitful.
Do you, Indra, heap up in our dwelling famous riches, comprising food and herds of cattle; may we,Śakra, be vigorous (through the favour) of you, the victorious; grant us, Vasu, that which we desire.
At home disclose to us opulence rich in food, streaming with milk, O Indra, meet to be renowned. Sakra, may we be thine, the friendly Conqueror's: even as we desire, O Vasu, so do thou.
