Let not that speech of the gods befool us which men have uttered; the radiant sun declares all these fruitful days. Auspicious Agni we invoke with fuel.
May that glorification of the gods which men repeat in connection with the rite preserve me; the sunrises visiting all the lustre of the dawn; we solicit the kindled fire for our welfare.
Further me this declaring of Eternal Law, the Law of Gods, as we mortals acknowledge it! The Sun goes up beholding all the rays of morn. We pray to kindled Agni for felicity.
