प्र याः सिस्र॑ते॒ सूर्य॑स्य र॒श्मिभि॒र्ज्योति॒र्भर॑न्तीरु॒षसो॒ व्यु॑ष्टिषु । भ॒द्रा नो॑ अ॒द्य श्रव॑से॒ व्यु॑च्छत स्व॒स्त्य१॒॑ग्निं स॑मिधा॒नमी॑महे
pra yāḥ sisrate sūryasya raśmibhirjyotirbharantīruṣaso vyuṣṭiṣu bhadrā no adya śravase vyucchata svastya1gniṃ samidhānamīmahe
They bear the sun’s rays that spread; they fill the light among the expanses. May auspicious ones open to us today the listening realms; Auspicious Agni we invoke with fuel.
Dawns, who are associated with the rays of the sun, bringing light at the opening (of the day), shineupon us today, propitious, for our subsistence; we solicit the kindled fire for our welfare.
Dawns, who come forward with the bright beams of the Sun, and at your earliest flushing bring to us the light, Shine ye on us to-day auspicious, for renown. We pray to kindled Agni for felicity.
