May heaven and earth protect us today, unattained mothers; may they guard the world for the welfare. Dawn rises; may evil be removed; we invoke Auspicious Agni with offerings of fuel.
May the vast maternal heaven and earth this day preserve us for our happiness, free from sin; may theopening dawn drive away our sin; we solicit the kindled fire for our welfare.
May the great Twain, the Mothers, Heaven and Earth, this day preserve us free from sin for peace and happiness. May Morning sending forth her light drive sin afar. We pray to kindled Agni for felicity.
