ए॒वा हि मां त॒वसं॑ व॒र्धय॑न्ति दि॒वश्चि॑न्मे बृह॒त उत्त॑रा॒ धूः । पु॒रू स॒हस्रा॒ नि शि॑शामि सा॒कम॑श॒त्रुं हि मा॒ जनि॑ता ज॒जान॑
evā hi māṃ tavasaṃ vardhayanti divaścinme bṛhata uttarā dhūḥ purū sahasrā ni śiśāmi sākamaśatruṃ hi mā janitā jajāna
Thus indeed your folk increase me, day and great beyond, the eastern smoke. I have pierced a thousand before; do not be born to a hostile friend.
(Indra speaks). Since (your laudations) thus increase my strength, (let the praise of me) who ammighty, (rise) even higher than the heavens. I destroy at once many thousand (of foes), for the genitive rator (of all)has engendered me without an enemy.
Thus do they magnify me, me the mighty higher than even high heaven is my car-pole.
