उत्ते॑ स्तभ्नामि पृथि॒वीं त्वत्परी॒मं लो॒गं नि॒दध॒न्मो अ॒हं रि॑षम् । ए॒तां स्थूणां॑ पि॒तरो॑ धारयन्तु॒ तेऽत्रा॑ य॒मः साद॑ना ते मिनोतु
utte stabhnāmi pṛthivīṃ tvatparīmaṃ logaṃ nidadhanmo ahaṃ riṣam etāṃ sthūṇāṃ pitaro dhārayantu te'trā yamaḥ sādanā te minotu
I set you upright, O earth, to your full measure; I placed the world and I am the sacrificer. May the fathers hold these supports; may Yama there make your conduct firm and grant abundance.
May they come back to me and be fostered under this (their) protector; do you Agni, keep them here;may whatever wealth (there is) remain here.
I stay the earth from thee, while over thee I place this piece of earth. May I be free from injury. Here let the Fathers keep this pillar firm for thee, and there let Yama make thee an abiding-place.
