स॒द्यश्चि॒द्यः शव॑सा॒ पञ्च॑ कृ॒ष्टीः सूर्य॑ इव॒ ज्योति॑षा॒पस्त॒तान॑ । स॒ह॒स्र॒साः श॑त॒सा अ॑स्य॒ रंहि॒र्न स्मा॑ वरन्ते युव॒तिं न शर्या॑म्
sadyaścidyaḥ śavasā pañca kṛṣṭīḥ sūrya iva jyotiṣāpastatāna sahasrasāḥ śatasā asya raṃhirna smā varante yuvatiṃ na śaryām
Immediate, swift, by breath five-foldly, like the sun, are the rays that came; thousands, hundreds of them press upon him — they do not grant a maiden to the unworthy.
He who has by his strength rapidly spread out the waters for the five castes like the sun by his light--thousand-yielding, hundred-bestowing is his course, like an unfailing arrow, none can stop it.
He who with might the Five Lands hath pervaded, like Surya with his lustre, and the waters- His strength wins hundreds, thousands none avert it, as- the young maid repelleth not her lover.
