Sing the hymn to the pigeon, inspire the eager ones; carry the pride around. Putting aside all evils, may the world be laden—may strength be firmly established.
(Praised) by our hymn, O gods, drive out the pigeon, who deserves to be driven out, exhilarated (byour oblation), bring us food and cattle, dissipating all our misfortunes; abandoning our food, may the swift(pigeon) fly away.
Drive forth the Dove, chase it with holy verses: rejoicing, bring ye hither food and cattle, Barring the way against all grief and trouble. Let the swift bird fly forth and leave us vigour.
