यदा॒शसा॑ निः॒शसा॑भि॒शसो॑पारि॒म जाग्र॑तो॒ यत्स्व॒पन्तः॑ । अ॒ग्निर्विश्वा॒न्यप॑ दुष्कृ॒तान्यजु॑ष्टान्या॒रे अ॒स्मद्द॑धातु
yadāśasā niḥśasābhiśasopārima jāgrato yatsvapantaḥ agnirviśvānyapa duṣkṛtānyajuṣṭānyāre asmaddadhātu
When breath and life go forth and awake from opposite sides while sleeping, may Agni place all harmful, impure, harmful deeds away from us.
Whatever sin we have committed by speaking to (others), speaking against (others), speaking (evil)about (others), whether walking or sleeping, may Agni remove all such hateful sins far from us.
If by address, by blame, by imprecation we have committed sin, awake or sleeping, All hateful acts of ours, all evil doings may Agni bear away to distant places.
