To you, O Jataveda, I call the all-knowing one, the universally quick; bring the gods to us, O Agni, favoring our vows to the clay-man.

I glorify with my praise you, Jātavedas, desired by akll; bring hither, Agni, to us the gods who aregratified by offerings, (bring) those gratified by offerings for our felicity. invoke Agni for the acquisition of abundant wealth, (may he make me) happy for the acquisition of wealth.

I laud thee Jatavedas, thee Lord of all blessings, with my song. Agni, bring hitherward the Gods whose Laws we love, whose laws we love, to show us grace.
