इन्द्रः॑ सु॒त्रामा॒ स्ववा॒ँ अवो॑भिः सुमृळी॒को भ॑वतु वि॒श्ववे॑दाः । बाध॑तां॒ द्वेषो॒ अभ॑यं कृणोतु सु॒वीर्य॑स्य॒ पत॑यः स्याम
indraḥ sutrāmā svavām̐ avobhiḥ sumṛḷīko bhavatu viśvavedāḥ bādhatāṃ dveṣo abhayaṃ kṛṇotu suvīryasya patayaḥ syāma
May Indra, protector, be well-joined with his friends; may all-knowing ones be gracious. Remove hatred, grant fearlessness, make us the lords of valour.
May Indra, the protector, the possessor of treat wealth, the all- knowing, be favourable (to us) with hisprotections; may he confound our enemies, may he make us free from fear, may we be the parents of excellentmale offspring.
Indra is strong to save, rich in assistance may he, possessing all, be kind and gracious. May he disperse our foes and give us safety, and may we be the lords of hero vigou r.
