May the wide-backed bull's splendour, seated in this invoked assembly, bring us offspring; O Harshaśva, do not let hostile floods come near us.
May the omnipresent (Indra), the mighty one, who is invoked by many, and lauded by many, bestow ablessing on this our sacrifice; be gracious to our offspring, Indra, lord of bay horses; harm us not, desert us not.
Foodful, and much-invoked, at this our calling mty the great Bull vouchsafe us wide protection. Lord of Bay Coursers, Indra, blew our children: harm us not, give us riot as prey to others.
