ए॒वा म॒हान्बृ॒हद्दि॑वो॒ अथ॒र्वावो॑च॒त्स्वां त॒न्व१॒॑मिन्द्र॑मे॒व । स्वसा॑रो मात॒रिभ्व॑रीररि॒प्रा हि॒न्वन्ति॑ च॒ शव॑सा व॒र्धय॑न्ति च
evā mahānbṛhaddivo atharvāvocatsvāṃ tanva1mindrameva svasāro mātaribhvarīrariprā hinvanti ca śavasā vardhayanti ca
Thus the great, broad sky spoke these words to Indra himself: Mothers and fathers with their peoples crush and augment the sacrificial offering.
Thus the great Bṛhaddiva, son of Atharvan, repeated his diffused (praise) to Indra. The unsulliedsiister (streams) abiding in the mother (earth), to Indra, and augment him with strength.
Thus hath Brhaddiva, the great Atharvan, spoken to Indra as himself in person. The spotless Sisters, they who are his Mothers, with power exalt him and impel him onward.
