प्र त॑ इन्द्र पू॒र्व्याणि॒ प्र नू॒नं वी॒र्या॑ वोचं प्रथ॒मा कृ॒तानि॑ । स॒ती॒नम॑न्युरश्रथायो॒ अद्रिं॑ सुवेद॒नाम॑कृणो॒र्ब्रह्म॑णे॒ गाम्
pra ta indra pūrvyāṇi pra nūnaṃ vīryā vocaṃ prathamā kṛtāni satīnamanyuraśrathāyo adriṃ suvedanāmakṛṇorbrahmaṇe gām
Before all, Indra declared the first mighty deeds to you: he gave oxen to the chariot-driver, made him a knower of the Vedic songs. He bestowed the cow to the Brahman.
I will proclaim now, Indra, your ancient first-achieved exploits; resolved to sent rain, you did cleave thecloud, you made the cow easily discoverable for the Brāhmaṇa
I will declare thy deeds of old, O Indra, the mighty acts which thou hast first accomplished. In genuine wrath thou loosenedst the mountain so that the Brahman easily found the cattle.
