O Agni, heaven and earth, both, are your parents; not mothers are those two. May you, nourisher, draw them — the strongest — to this people; convey the gods here.
You have, ever sustained, Agni, both heaven and earth, as a son (supports) his parents; come, youngest (of the gods), to the presence of those desiring (you); son of strength, bring here the gods.
Over the earth and over heaven, O Agni, thou, Son, hast ever spread above thy Parents. Come, Youthfullest! to those who long to meet thee, and hither bring the Gods, O Mighty Victor.
