स मा॑त॒रिश्वा॑ पुरु॒वार॑पुष्टिर्वि॒दद्गा॒तुं तन॑याय स्व॒र्वित् । वि॒शां गो॒पा ज॑नि॒ता रोद॑स्योर्दे॒वा अ॒ग्निं धा॑रयन्द्रविणो॒दाम्
sa mātariśvā puruvārapuṣṭirvidadgātuṃ tanayāya svarvit viśāṃ gopā janitā rodasyordevā agniṃ dhārayandraviṇodām
May he, mother of steeds, strong-bodied before, grant going to the son with celestial understanding. The herdsman of villages was born of the peoples; the gods established Agni, the bearer of delight.
May Agni, the dweller in the firmament, the nourisher with abundant benefits, the bestower of svarga, the protector of mankind, the progenitor of heaven and earth, instrumental uct my sons in the right way; the gods retain Agni as the giver of (sacrificial) wealth.
That Matarisvan rich in wealth and treasure, light-winner, finds a pathway for his offispring. Guard of our folk, Father of earth and heaven. The Gods possessed the wealth bestowing Agni.
