व्यू॒र्ण्व॒ती दि॒वो अन्ता॑ँ अबो॒ध्यप॒ स्वसा॑रं सनु॒तर्यु॑योति । प्र॒मि॒न॒ती म॑नु॒ष्या॑ यु॒गानि॒ योषा॑ जा॒रस्य॒ चक्ष॑सा॒ वि भा॑ति
vyūrṇvatī divo antām̐ abodhyapa svasāraṃ sanutaryuyoti praminatī manuṣyā yugāni yoṣā jārasya cakṣasā vi bhāti
She spreads the extremes of heaven, the waters revealed; bearing her breath she quickens offspring. She shines upon the orders of mankind; with the eye of age she makes the eras of humans apparent.
She has been seen illuminating the boundaries of the sky, and driving into disappearance the spontaneously-retiring (night); wearing away the ages of the human race, she shines with light like the bride of the sun.
She hath appeared discovering heaven's borders: to the far distance she drives off her Sister. Diminishing the days of human creatures, the Lady shines with all her lover's splendour.
