These banners of the dawn shine forth, flagged in the earlier half of the bright realm; drawing out life like a tide, the cows approach, the mothers lowing.
These divinities of the morning have spread light (over the world); they make manifest the light in the eastern portion of the firmament, brightening all things, like warriors burnishing their weapons; the radiant and progressing mothers (of the earth), they travel daily (on their course).
THESE Dawns have raised their banner; in the eastern half of the mid-air they spread abroad their shinine light. Like heroes who prepare their weapons for the war, onward they come bright red in hue, the Mother Cows.
