स हि स्व॒सृत्पृष॑दश्वो॒ युवा॑ ग॒णो॒३॒॑ऽया ई॑शा॒नस्तवि॑षीभि॒रावृ॑तः । असि॑ स॒त्य ऋ॑ण॒यावाने॑द्यो॒ऽस्या धि॒यः प्रा॑वि॒ताथा॒ वृषा॑ ग॒णः
sa hi svasṛtpṛṣadaśvo yuvā gaṇo3'yā īśānastaviṣībhirāvṛtaḥ asi satya ṛṇayāvānedyo'syā dhiyaḥ prāvitāthā vṛṣā gaṇaḥ
He indeed, springing with his swift steeds, the youthful company—this ruler encircled by the powerful ones. He is true, the bearer of vows; the wise one advanced, bulls of the troop.
The troop of Maruts is self-moving deer-borne, ever young, lords of this (earth), and invested with vigour; you, who are sincere liberators from debt, irreproachable, and shedders of rain, are the protectors of this our rite.
Self-moving is that youthful band, with spotted steeds; thus it hath lordly sway, endued with power and might. Truthful art thou, and blameless, searcher out of sin: so thou, Strong Host, wilt be protector of this prayer.
