Mind is that pathless hero who arrives at once; he is the bright Dweller of Strength. Kings Mitra and Varuṇa, with fair hands among cattle, protect the beloved immortal from harm.
The sun, who traverses alone the path of heaven with the speed of thought, is at once lord of all treasures; the two kings, Mitra and Varuṇa, with bounteous hands, are the guardians of the precious ambrosia of our cattle.
He who like thought goes swiftly on his journey, the Sun, alone is ever Lord of riches. The Kings with fair hands, Varuna and Mitra, protect the precious nectar in our cattle.
