Hard to approach is the sacrificer; the power is eternal — like a womb anew for all.

[5-6] Agni of unattainable brightness, is like a vigilant sacrificer; he is an ornament to all (in the sacrificial chamber), like a woman in a dwelling; when he shines with wonderful lustre, he is like the white (sun) or like a golden chariot amongst men, resplendent in battle.

To him lead all your ways: may we attain the kindled God as cows their home at eve. He drives the flames below as floods their swell: the rays rise up to the fair place of heaven.
