Grant us greatness for the offerings to the dead, O Angiras, bearer of praise; with fair deeds may you laud the Rigvedic worship, the sun known to men.
We mediate like Aṅgiras, an acceptable adress to that powerful and praise-deserving Indra, who is to be adored by his worshippers (with prayers) of efficacy, to bring him to the ceremony; let us repeat a prayer to the celebrated leader of all.
LIKE Angiras a gladdening laud we ponder to him who loveth song, exceeding mighty. Let us sing glory to the far-famed Hero who must be praised with fair hymns by the singer.
