tvaṃ karañjamuta parṇayaṃ vadhīstejiṣṭhayātithigvasya vartanī tvaṃ śatā vaṅgṛdasyābhinatpuro'nānudaḥ pariṣūtā ṛjiśvanā
You, bearer of the curved reed and leafy spear, conqueror gifted with foremost splendor, guest of the mighty hymn: you are the hundred‑voiced speaker adorned before; with straight‑swift steeds you are well‑surrounded.
You have slain Karañja and Parṇaya with your bright gleaming spear, in the cause of Atithigva; unaided, you did demolish the hundred cities of Vaṅgrida, when besieged by Ṛjiṣvan.
Thou hast struck down in death Karanja, Parnaya, in Atithigva's very glorious going forth. Unyielding, when Rjisvan compassed them with siege, thou hast destroyed the hundred forts of Vangrida.
