Like Shachi, Indra, famed for mighty deeds and radiant, you stood before me, O Vasus, and drove away anger. Therefore, gathering strength you overwhelmed and bore me; may you, active in nourishing desire, make me prosperous.
Wise and resplendent Indra, the achiever of great deeds, the riches that are spread around are known to be yours; having collected them, victor (over your enemies), bring them to us; disappoint not the expectation of the worshipper who trusts in you.
Indra, most splendid, powerful, rich in mighty deeds, this treasure spread around is known to be thine own. Gather therefrom, O Conqueror, and bring to us: fail not the hope of him who loves and sings to thee.
