The seers called you, O mighty Soma, going toward thee; carrying great radiance, O Agni, for the living and the tenfold hosts.

The wise (priests), with effused libations of Soma juice, have summoned you, vast and brilliant Agni, to partake of the (sacrificial food) as they hold the oblation on the part of the individual who presents it.

Singers with Soma pressed have made thee, Agni, hasten to the feast, Great light to mortal worshipper, what time they bring the sacred gift.
