The gods indeed heard the hymns as tenfold, O Agni, with discerning minds. The swift-breathing steeds proclaimed three and thirty songs and bore them upward.

Verily the discriminating gods are givers of rewards to the offerer (of oblations); lord of red coursers, propitiated by our praises, bring hither the three and thirty divinities.

Agni, the Gods who understand give ear unto the worshipper: Lord of Red Steeds, who lovest song, bring thou those Three-and-Thirty Gods.
