सु॒शंसो॑ बोधि गृण॒ते य॑विष्ठ्य॒ मधु॑जिह्वः॒ स्वा॑हुतः । प्रस्क॑ण्वस्य प्रति॒रन्नायु॑र्जी॒वसे॑ नम॒स्या दैव्यं॒ जन॑म्
suśaṃso bodhi gṛṇate yaviṣṭhya madhujihvaḥ svāhutaḥ praskaṇvasya pratirannāyurjīvase namasyā daivyaṃ janam
The well-praised one speaks, awakening like the honey-tongued; offered with oblation he bestows prosperity. May he, sprinkling, grant renewed life and divine progeny to you, praised one.
Juvenile Agni, whose flames delight, who ar euniversally invoked, and are praised (by us) on behalf of the worshipper, understand (our wishes), and granting Praskaṇva to live a lengthened life, do honour to the divine man.
Tell good things to thy praiser, O most youthful God, as richly worshipped, honey-tongued, And, granting to Praskanva lengthened days of life, show honour to the Heavenly Host.
