That which stands firm, O men, handle it like a heavy burden. Even as the forest spreads over the earth, so are the ranges of mountains.
Directing Maruts, when you demolish what is stable, when you scatter what is ponderous, then you make your way through the forest (trees) of earth and the defiles of the mountains.
When what is strong ye overthrow, and whirl about each ponderous thing, Heroes, your course is through the forest trees of earth, and through the fissures of the rocks.
