ऊ॒र्ध्वो नः॑ पा॒ह्यंह॑सो॒ नि के॒तुना॒ विश्वं॒ सम॒त्रिणं॑ दह । कृ॒धी न॑ ऊ॒र्ध्वाञ्च॒रथा॑य जी॒वसे॑ वि॒दा दे॒वेषु॑ नो॒ दुवः॑
ūrdhvo naḥ pāhyaṃhaso ni ketunā viśvaṃ samatriṇaṃ daha kṛdhī na ūrdhvāñcarathāya jīvase vidā deveṣu no duvaḥ
Protect us upward; with what banner burn up the manifold world? Work upward like a charioteer and live; grant us fame among the gods, not sorrow.
Erect, preserve us by knowledge from sin; consume every malignant spirit; raise us aloft, that we may pass (through the world); and that we may live, convey our sealth (of oblations) to the gods.
Erect, preserve us from sore trouble; with thy flame burn thou each ravening demon dead. Raise thou us up that we may walk and live. so thou shalt find our worship mid the Gods.
