नि ष्वा॑पया मिथू॒दृशा॑ स॒स्तामबु॑ध्यमाने । आ तू न॑ इन्द्र शंसय॒ गोष्वश्वे॑षु शु॒भ्रिषु॑ स॒हस्रे॑षु तुवीमघ
ni ṣvāpayā mithūdṛśā sastāmabudhyamāne ā tū na indra śaṃsaya goṣvaśveṣu śubhriṣu sahasreṣu tuvīmagha
Having lain down like one who meets another in agreement, you, awake, may be honored; may Indra praise you among kine and horses, among the bright thousands, may he protect you.
Cast asleep (the two feminine le messengers of Yama); looking at each other, let them sleep, never waking; Indra, of boundless wealth, enrich us with thousands of excellent cows and horses.
Lull thou asleep, to wake no more, the pair who on each other look Do thou, O Indra, give us, help of beauteous horses and of kine, In thousands, O most wealthy One.
