शिप्रि॑न्वाजानां पते॒ शची॑व॒स्तव॑ दं॒सना॑ । आ तू न॑ इन्द्र शंसय॒ गोष्वश्वे॑षु शु॒भ्रिषु॑ स॒हस्रे॑षु तुवीमघ
śiprinvājānāṃ pate śacīvastava daṃsanā ā tū na indra śaṃsaya goṣvaśveṣu śubhriṣu sahasreṣu tuvīmagha
Like the mistress among those who know swift action, may you be famed; may Indra praise you among kine and horses, among the bright thousands, may he protect you.
Your benevolence, handsome and mighty lord of food, endures for ever; therefore, Indra, of boundless wealth, enrich us with thousands of excellent cows and horses.
O Lord of Strength, whose jaws are strong, great deeds are thine, the powerful: Do thou, O Indra, give us hope of beauteous horses and of kine, In thousands, O most wealthy One.
