May we, with the essence flowing, unite with the waters who go first; bring that fire near with waters, and with abundant power create for us.

I have this day entered into the waters; we have mingled with their essence; Agni, abiding in the waters, approach, and fill me, thus (bathed), with vigour.

The Waters I this day have sought, and to their moisture have we come: O Agni, rich in milk, come thou, and with thy splendour cover me.
