अवो॑चाम नि॒वच॑नान्यस्मि॒न्मान॑स्य सू॒नुः स॑हसा॒ने अ॒ग्नौ । व॒यं स॒हस्र॒मृषि॑भिः सनेम वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम्
avocāma nivacanānyasminmānasya sūnuḥ sahasāne agnau vayaṃ sahasramṛṣibhiḥ sanema vidyāmeṣaṃ vṛjanaṃ jīradānum
I spoke, addressing the solicitors: they heard me suddenly in Agni. Together with a thousand seers we keep this herd, the milking cattle, the life-giving kine.
We address our pious prayers to you, Agni, the son of prayer, the subduer of foes; may we procure, by these sacred supplications, infinite wealth, that we may thence obtain food, strength and long life.
To him have we addressed our pious speeches, I, Mana's son, to him victorious Agni. May we gain countless riches with the sages. May we find strengthening food in full abundance.
