When in the splendid contest their greatness is arrayed and they are engaged, then the excellent are appointed. When in prosperous days they do not begin assault, the hosts restrain wrathful warriors.
For, verily, their greatness is well known, (as) they diligently discharge their functions; by which their spot pours rain upon every arid soil, as light spreads (universally) on a fine day.
They hasten on to happy termination their orders when they are made known by glory. As on a fair bright day the arrow flieth o'er all the barren soil their missiles sparkle.
