यु॒वां पू॒षेवा॑श्विना॒ पुरं॑धिर॒ग्निमु॒षां न ज॑रते ह॒विष्मा॑न् । हु॒वे यद्वां॑ वरिव॒स्या गृ॑णा॒नो वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम्
yuvāṃ pūṣevāśvinā puraṃdhiragnimuṣāṃ na jarate haviṣmān huve yadvāṃ varivasyā gṛṇāno vidyāmeṣaṃ vṛjanaṃ jīradānum
O Ashvins, like Pushan you are protectors of the city; the sacrificial gift does not age. I invoke what makes you abundant: grant us knowledge of that herd and that life-giving sustenance.
The wise offerer of oblations, like Pūṣan, praises you, Aśvins, as (he would praise) Agni and Uṣā, (at the season) at which I invoke you praising with devotion that we may thence obtain food, strength, and long life.
The prudent worshipper, like Pusan, Asvins! praises you as he praises Dawn and Agni, When, singing with devotion, he invokes you. May we find strengthening food in full abundance.
