pra yadvahethe mahinā rathasya pra syandrā yātho manuṣo na hotā dhattaṃ sūribhya uta vā svaśvyaṃ nāsatyā rayiṣācaḥ syāma
When the chariot moves the mighty months, men are not slain like beasts. May it be set against foes, to the brave a support; may we be rich with heroic fame.
When, by the virtue of your chariot, you come (to the sacrifice), and when, like the ministering priest (after discharging his rfunction), you depart, gliding away, you give to the devout (worshippers a reward), thogh it be store of good horses; may we be enriched, Nāsatyās (by your favour).
When with the glory of your car ye travel, when we go speeding like the priest of mortals, And give good horses to sacrificers, may we, Nasatyas! gain our share of riches.
