May you, like a star, avert the ill fate of men. Your sisters who bear renown fill the car for strength; may they bring the honeyed draught and nectar.
Direct downwards (the course) of your (car) swift moving, variously going, friendly to man, and to be especially venerated, when all adorable, your sister (dawn) prepares (for your approach), and (the instrumental tutor of the ceremony) worships you, drinkers of the Soma, for the sake (of obtaining) strength and food.
Ye as ye travel overtake the Courser who flies apart, the Friend of man, most holy. The prayer is that the Sister may convey you, all praised, meath-drinkers! to support and strengthen.
