Whatever of the two days is of the two-day span, not a car was made for us—honor my understanding. O Maruts, be swift; the mighty brahmanas have been invoked—let the aged one worship you.
Since the experienced intellect of a venerable (sage), competent to bestow praise upon (you), who deserve praise, has been exerted for us; do you, Maruts, come to the presence of the devout (worshipper), who, glorifying (you), worships you with these holy rites.
To this hath Minya's wisdom brought us, so as to aid, as aids the poet him who worships. Bring hither quick! On to the sage, ye Maruts! These prayers for you the singer hath recited.
