O poet, I ask about the roast in glad mind: by this the feet are laid low. Over the seven cords stretched on the lamb flows the fleece; poets cry, “Here!”
Immature (in understanding) undiscerning in mind, I inquire of those things which are hidden (even) from the gods; (what are) the seven threads which the sages have spread to envelop the sun, in whom all abide?
Unripe in mind, in spirit undiscerning, I ask of these the Gods' established places; For up above the yearling Calf the sages, to form a web, their own seven threads have woven.
