The hymn is the imperishable supreme heaven; the gods sat upon another. He who does not know that—what else shall he do? Those who know it gather together.
All the gods have taken their seats upon this supreme heaven, the imperishable (text) of the Veda; what will he, who knows not this, do with the Veda? but they who do know it, they are perfect.
Upon what syllable of holy praise-song, as twere their highest heaven, the Gods repose them,- Who knows not this, what will he do with praise-song? But they who know it well sit here assembled.
